My Hill Eco Lodge offers beachfront accommodation on a 4.5 ha property set on a peninsula reaching into Lake Ruhondo, Rwanda. The lake is one of the twin lakes, Ruhondo and Burera, in the Ruhengeri region, Northern Province which also features a chain of three volcanoes.

My Hill Eco Lodge offers various facilities, such as a restaurant, a bar and a garden – including a scenic view of the volcanoes. Guests stay in en-suite rooms or safari tents, and can engage in several outdoor activities to explore Ruhengeri such as cycling, hiking, canoeing and fishing. My Hill also offers cultural tours and cooking classes.  

My Hill started welcoming guests in 2019. The team is committed to the restoration of damaged habitats and the protection of many tree and animal species which are in decline on the shores of Lake Ruhondo.

  2. Emphasis on bush protection
  3. Creating environment youth clubs
  4. Training of fishermen grouped into cooperatives at Ruhondo Lake
  5. Building an environment training center
