Porcupine Hills Guest and Olive Farm is situated about 1.5 hrs outside Cape Town, South Africa, on the Van der Stel Pass between Botrivier and Villiersdorp.  It offers a wide range of self-catering accommodation for a get-away, as well as being an event venue for weddings, social gatherings, workshops and retreats. 

The whole property is known as Diepklowe Private Nature Reserve and hosts a diverse range of flora and fauna as well as a Cape Nature hiking trail for day hikes - The Verreaux Trail, named for the pair of Black eagles that nest on the cliff.

  • Geology onsite creates “ecotone” which attracts unique plant species, such as the exquisite spider orchid (Bartholina burmanniana)

  4. Collaboration and involvement with the Groenlandberg Conservancy with respect to the Botrivier alien clearing project
